Roseau pulls away in 3rd period, gets even with Bemidji

Jan. 24—ROSEAU — The Bemidji High School boys hockey team's best win of the 2023-24 season came on Dec. 21 in overtime against Roseau. A month later, the Rams found some retribution.

Roseau beat Bemidji 7-3 on Tuesday night to split the season series behind four-point games from Noah Urness and Gavin Jensen.

Jensen scored twice and picked up two assists, while Urness, a St. Cloud State commit, had one goal and two assists.

Roseau scored three times in the first and third periods. Jake Kvien, Jake Halvorson and Urness scored in the first before Connor Stodgell made it 3-1. Noah Mannausau made it 3-2 in the second period before Halvorson scored again.

In the third, Jensen extended the Roseau lead to 5-2 before Peyton Neadeau made it 5-3. In the final minute, Jensen and Bradyn Thingvold scored for the Rams.
