Houston Rockets rookie center Zhou Qi has already played in 13 games this season, but his welcome to the NBA moment didn’t come until game No. 14.

Qi was the victim of a massive posterization during Friday’s game against the Washington Wizards. With about 9:45 left in the second quarter, Wizards guard Tomas Satoransky drove hard to the basket.

Then, this happened:

We might as well see that again.

It’s still pretty early in Qi’s career, but we can say confidently that highlight won’t make his sizzle reel when things are said and done. The 21-year-old rookie is 7-foot-1, but it’s not like he had a major size advantage here. Satoransky clocks in at 6-foot-7, and weighs just as much as Qi. Satoransky also had a full head of momentum going, so it’s no surprise he came out on top.

So, welcome to the NBA, Zhou Qi. It may have been the first time someone dunked on you, but it certainly won’t be the last.

That’s the price of being a center in basketball. You just have to hope you come out on the positive end of those dunk attempts more often than you fail in the future.
