Roberson boys soccer Daniel Foster's hat trick leads WNC's Week 9 high school fall sports top performers

Here are the WNC athletes who have had big performances this week in the non-football fall sports.

This list is compiled from information provided to the Citizen Times (sports@citizentimes.com) or posted on MaxPreps or social media.

Volleyball

Haleigh Kamer, Asheville Christian Academy: Kamer had 17 kills, 11 assists, six digs, three aces and two blocks as ACA beat Asheville School in three sets.

Joscelyn Stamper, Cherokee: Stamper recorded 15 kills, three blocks and four digs in Cherokee's 3-0 win over Robbinsville.

Creedon Arch, Cherokee: Arch tallied 19 assists and 10 digs for the Braves.

Stella Veach, Hendersonville: Veach had 12 kills and five blocks in a 3-1 victory over Patton.

Ava Bella Christenbury, Madison: The junior tallied 24 digs and 11 kills in Madison's 3-2 loss to Mountain Heritage.

Ava Webb, Mountain Heritage: Webb recorded 23 kills, five digs and 30 assists in a 3-2 win over Madison.

Keira Wilson, Mountain Heritage: Wilson racked up 17 kills and six blocks for the Cougars.

Vega Deyton, Mountain Heritage: Deyton had 22 digs and two aces.

Reannah Webb, North Buncombe: Webb tallied 24 assists, five digs and five aces in a 3-1 win over Asheville.

Mia Roland, Owen: Roland had 20 digs and 12 kills as Owen swept Avery County.

Greenlee Flynn, Smoky Mountain: Flynn recorded 21 kills, 18 digs and three aces, helping the Mustangs beat Pisgah 3-2.

Isabelle Stephan, Smoky Mountain: Stephan racked up 19 digs, eight kills and six assists.

Carrie Sutton, Smoky Mountain: Sutton tallied 49 assists and 12 digs for Smoky Mountain.

Emma Moretz, Rosman: Moretz recorded 23 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs as Rosman beat Mitchell 3-0.

Jonathan Montes, East Henderson: Montes scored two goals in the Eagles' 5-0 win over East Rutherford.

Wednesday

Boys Soccer

Cain Hart, Avery County: Hart scored two goals and assisted on two more, earning six points in Avery County's 4-3 win over Mountain Heritage.

Kaden Knight, Avery County: Knight scored two goals.

Nic Pierce, Smoky Mountain: The senior scored two goals in a 4-2 loss to West Henderson.

Owen Craig, Swain County: Craig scored a brace, providing both goals in the Maroon Devils' 2-1 victory over Hayesville.

Tuesday

Volleyball

Alexis Davis, Cherokee: Davis had 17 kills, an ace and four digs, helping Cherokee beat Murphy 3-0.

Joscelyn Stamper, Cherokee: The freshman tallied 14 kills and six digs for the Braves.

Ava Bella Christenburry, Madison: The junior had 23 digs and 14 kills to help Madison beat Avery County 3-1.

Addie Coates, Madison: Coates tallied 27 assists, 20 digs, six kills and four aces.

Bailey Rowe, North Henderson: Rowe recorded 14 kills, four aces and six digs in a 3-0 win vs. Pisgah.

Peyton Taylor, North Henderson: Taylor tallied 14 kills and seven digs.

Sophia Overholt, Polk County: Overholt had 11 digs and 10 kills, helping the Wolverines to a 3-0 win over East Rutherford.

Delaney Brooms, Robbinsville: Brooms recorded 15 kills and 22 digs, but the Black Knights fell to Swain County in five sets.

Liz Carpenter, Robbinsville: The junior racked up 22 digs, 16 kills, two aces and two blocks.

Kaden Knight, Avery County: Knight scored two goals, pushing the Vikings to a 3-2 victory over North Carolina School of Science and Math - Morganton.

Hayden Koone, Owen: Koone racked up 32 assists, 13 digs and four aces in a 3-0 win vs. Erwin.

Mia Roland, Owen: Roland tallied 13 kills, two blocks, 17 digs and seven aces.

Isabella Baylor, West Henderson: Baylor recorded 11 kills, a block and a dig in a 3-0 win vs. Tuscola.

Boys Soccer

Josiah Mascorro, Franklin: Mascorro racked up two goals in a 4-2 win vs. Tuscola.

Ulises Padron-Perez, Franklin: Padron-Perez scored two goals and added an assist.

Daniel Garcia, Owen: Garcia had two goals and an assist in a 6-0 win vs. Mountain Heritage.

Elijah Caro, Owen: Caro accumulated two goals and an assist.

James Centers, Owen: Centers made four saves.

Daniel Foster, Roberson: Foster recorded a hat trick and added an assist in a 6-0 win vs. North Buncombe.

Quinn Roberts, Roberson: Roberts tallied two goals and an assist.

Girls cross country

Caroline Barton, Carolina Day School: Barton finished sixth at the Great American XC festival in Cary, North Carolina, in 17:36 -- the fastest girls time in WNC since 2014.
