The Manny Diaz Era is still a few days away from its first game, but there's already some positive momentum off the field, as the Hurricanes are off to a roaring start when it comes to the class of 2021. UM’s 12-member class got a boost with this rankings release when two commits added a fourth star. Wide receiver Jacolby George, who proved himself to be one of the top wideouts in the state this spring, found his way into the Rivals250. So did guard Laurence Seymore, who continues to progress as an athletic interior lineman.

Five of Texas’ seven commits landed in the Rivals250, giving the Longhorns one off the top classes in America. UT’s haul is headlined by wide receiver Quaydarius Davis, who checks in at No. 80 in the country. Quarterback commit Jalen Milroe also finds himself in the Rivals100, as the 6-foot-3 prospect still occupies the No. 98 spot. The momentum in Austin is palpable on both the field and the recruiting trail.
