Rickea Jackson, Jewel Spear score 10-plus points in Team USA’s win versus Cuba

Team USA defeated Cuba, 106-44, Wednesday in the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup.

The game took place at Domo de la Feira in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson and Jewel Spear played for Team USA versus Cuba.

Jackson totaled 16 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes. She converted 5-of-12 field attempts and 6-of-6 free throw attempts.

Spear recorded 10 points and three assists in 18 minutes. She converted 5-of-8 field goal attempts and 2-of-5 three-point attempts.

Team USA will next play Colombia on Friday. Tipoff between Team USA and Columbia is slated for 2:10 p.m. EDT.
