Report: Shakeup could be coming in Miami

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is considering making major changes after his team failed to make the playoffs.

According to the Associated Press, coach Joe Philbin is expected to return, but general manager Jeff Ireland and offensive coordinator Mike Sherman are in danger of being fired.

Per the report, a decision could come as soon as Thursday after Ross got angry enough during a season-ending loss to the New York Jets that he turned away because he couldn't watch anymore.

The Dolphins finished 8-8.

Per the report, Ross is worried about attendance and thought the Dolphins should make the playoffs after spending over $100 million in guaranteed money prior to last season.
