Report: Former Thunder Jared Butler signs two-way deal with Wizards

After finishing last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, third-year guard Jared Butler signed to a two-way deal with the Washington Wizards, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

After spending his rookie season with the Utah Jazz, Butler signed with the Thunder in March last season. In six games, he averaged 6.2 points on 46.9% shooting.

No longer signed on a two-way deal, Butler played for the Thunder this past summer league. He now reunites with Wizards general manager Will Dawkins — who was previously at OKC.

The Thunder remain with two vacant two-way spots, as second-round rookie Keyontae Johnson was signed to a two-way deal.
