Report: Defensive lineman no longer with Georgia football program

Per a report from Dawgs247, defensive tackle Shone Washington is no longer with the UGA football program.

A three-star member in the class of 2022 out of New Orleans, Louisiana, Washington played in one game during his freshman year at Georgia. He recorded one tackle against Samford.

Washington committed to Georgia in late 2021, choosing the Bulldogs over the Florida Gators.

Washington was expected to compete with newcomer Jamaal Jarrett for reserve snaps in the interior of the defensive line behind Naz Stackhouse, Zion Logue and Bear Alexander.
