There is speculation surrounding Akron native Chris Livingston and his status in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Livingston, a 6-foot-6 forward, spent a season playing for Kentucky, where he averaged 6.3 points and 4.2 rebounds, before declaring for the draft. According to reports in The Athletic, he has apparently canceled any remaining workouts he had with clubs, suggesting something on the horizon.

He is not expected to be drafted, but he has canceled workouts with teams who may be interested because he potentially has a two-way deal that allows a player to appear with an NBA team and its G-League affiliate, according to John Hollinger of The Athletic.

According to reports, Livingston had a workout scheduled with the Cavs, who have a G-League affiliate also playing in Cleveland.

Livingston is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
