In the record books: 5 Rockford-area girls crack single-season top goal scorers list

The IHSA girls soccer season is officially over in the Rockford area, with the last team (Boylan) dropping out with a one-goal loss in last week's Class 2A sectional finals.

With the end of the season comes the cementing of the record books, and there were some additions and changed that were made to the Rockford-area goal-scoring records this season. Five players cracked the top 17 in the top scorers' list this season alone.
