Recapping LSU’s recruiting additions during the month of July
While there was a bit of concern over LSU’s slow start to the 2023 recruiting class, those worries are a thing of the past as the calendar turns to August.
Tigers coach Brian Kelly picked up 11 commitments in the 2023 class — and three in 2024, to boot — during the month of July, enough to propel LSU’s group into the national top 10, according to 247Sports.
There are still some areas of need in the current cycle, including at quarterback, the Tigers have the makings of a very strong class, and they’re not done yet. Here’s who they picked up during a stellar month from Kelly on the trail. All rankings are based on the 247Sports Composite.
