RB James Conner, WR Rondale Moore considered day-to-day in Week 3

The Arizona Cardinals released their first injury report of Week 3 Wednesday afternoon. It had nine players listed as not practicing. Six of those, though, were just resting after the offense played 87 snaps in their 29-23 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Two players of note were out with an injury. Running back James Conner, who exited Sunday’s game with an ankle injury early in the third quarter, did not practice. Neither did receiver Rondale Moore, who has missed the first two games of the year with a pulled hamstring.

Both have a chance to play this week.

“(Moore) is day to day still,” head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Wednesday. “We’ve got to just see how this progresses. He’s a guy that’s very cerebral and knows the system so if he can go by Friday or Saturday, I think we’d feel good about it.”

Greg Dortch has played well in Moore’ place so far, leading the Cardinals with 11 receptions for 118 yards, but getting Moore in the lineup against a depleted Rams secondary would be huge.

As for Conner, his status is the same as Moore’s.

“He’s doing okay,” Kingsbury said Wednesday. “Same deal — he’s day to day. We’ll try to get him doing something (Thursday) and see how it goes.”

If he is unable to go, the Cardinals will roll with Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin.

The Cardinals’ second injury report will come out Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon is when we will know their game status.

The Cardinals and Rams kick off Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium at 1:25 p.m. Arizona time.
