Razorback Wire NFL Mock Draft: Picks 26-21

In our first mock draft release, we picked selections for the best teams in the league.

Those who don’t need a player to come in and make an immediate impact.

Picks 20-25 are n the same boat but are one or two pieces away from making the next step to becoming an elite ball club during the 2023-24 season. These are also the spots where you can find a steal.

In 2020, the Vikings selected former LSU route runner Justin Jefferson with the 22nd pick, and that has turned out to be one of the best picks in recent memory.

Are there any late-first-round steals in this draft? Let’s see.

26. Dallas Cowboys: O'Cyrus Torrence, G, Florida

The offensive line it getting old and the rest of the team has talent across the board. The Cowboys could make “sexy pick” here but I think they’ll play it safe.

25. New York Giants: Quentin Johnson, WR, TCU

The Giants need another playmaker outside of Saquon Barkley, and Johnson has the potential to make an instant impact for any team. Can Daniel Jones deliver him the ball?

24. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia

Ringo is a physical corner that likes to play in your face. The Jaguars defense could use another player like that. This could be a steal for the Jags.

23. Minnesota Vikings: Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois

The Vikings had a lot of comebacks last season, but that was mainly because they gave up early leads. Some consider Witherspoon the best corner in the draft, and he has Big Ten ties. Seems like a perfect fit.

22.Baltimore Ravens: Brian Branch, CB, Alabama

After signing Odell Beckham, the Ravens no longer need to spend a first-round pick on a wide receiver. Instead, they’ll go with Branch to play the opposite side of another Crimson Tide defensive back, Marlon Humphrey.

21.Los Angeles Chargers: Bryan Reese, DT, Clemson

The Chargers have to of the best pass rushers in the NFL but they need a monster in the middle. Bresee can fill that void.
