The NFL playoffs' divisional round features eight of the best teams in the league: the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Buffalo Bills. After Saturday's Texans-Ravens and Packers-49ers games and Sunday's Lions-Buccaneers and Chiefs-Bills games, the playoff field will be down to four teams in the hunt for Super Bowl LVIII.

NFL playoff watchability rankings: Which are best divisional round matchups?

The four matchups will provide a trio of rematches from the regular season and the most storied matchup in NFL playoff history. Football fans will likely be glued to the action and a few anytime touchdown bets can add to the excitement.

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook (+130)

Yes, we had Cook among our wild card best bets last week and he didn't come through but he could be a key this weekend for the Bills.

In Buffalo's Week 14 win over the Chiefs, Cook had a game-high 141 yards from scrimmage and a receiving touchdown. Kansas City's defensive backs are playing very well this season and the unit as a whole allowed just one touchdown to wide receivers in the last six weeks. The Chiefs' defense has allowed more receiving touchdowns to running backs (two) than wide receivers (one) in that span.

Kansas City will likely key in on Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs and tight end Dalton Kincaid in the passing game. Buffalo could lean on Cook to exploit the Chiefs' linebackers in the passing game and find the end zone in the process.

NFL playoff picks: Will Chiefs or Bills win in marquee divisional-round matchup?

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (+125)

Both Tampa Bay and Detroit boast some of the toughest run defenses in the league. The Lions finished the regular season with the second-fewest rushing yards allowed per game (88.8) and the Buccaneers were close behind with the fifth-fewest (95.3). That likely means both teams will lean on their passing attacks.

Over the last eight games, Tampa Bay's defense gave up more touchdowns to tight ends (five) than wide receivers (three). Last week, the Buccaneers let Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith rack up eight catches for a season-high 148 yards but was kept out of the end zone. Instead, tight end Dallas Goedert got through for a score. This week could see a similar script with the Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown racking up catches and yards but LaPorta finding the end zone for Detroit.

Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (+105)

Edwards finished third in the NFL in rushing touchdowns among running backs with 13 and scored a touchdown in three of the last four weeks of the regular season.

Houston's defense is stout against the run and finished the regular season sixth in yards allowed per game. But Browns running back Kareem Hunt had two touchdowns last week in the wild card round and Colts running back Jonathan Taylor went wild in the regular season finale for 218 yards and a touchdown. Edwards may not rack up yards against the Texans defense but could find the end zone, especially in short yardage situations.

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (+110)

Kittle's been scoreless in his last three games but has a good opportunity to change that against Green Bay's defense.

Though it mostly came in garbage time, the Packers' defense allowed Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson to score three touchdowns last week in the wild card round. Green Bay will likely focus coverage on San Francisco's wideouts Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel as well as star running back Christian McCaffrey. There's only so many weapons a defense can cover in the passing game. That could give the Madison, Wis. native a great chance to notch just his second career postseason touchdown.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice (+130)

Rice has stepped up as the Chiefs' top wide receiver over the second half of the season. Last week's win over the Dolphins saw Rice set a career-high in receiving yards (130) and tie a career-best in targets with 12. He's scored a touchdown in three of his last five games, more than any other tight end or wide receiver on the team.

He's facing a Bills defense dealing with lots of injuries, especially on the second level. Buffalo's three starting cornerbacks are all listed as questionable for Sunday's game and the Bills' starting safeties Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer likely won't trail him in coverage. Rice's become one of quarterback Patrick Mahomes' favorite targets in the passing game and could shine again.
