Rashard Mendenhall to start for Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals plan to start Rashard Mendenhall on Sunday.

However, rookie Andre Ellington will split time with him.

Ellington had 15 carries for 154 yards and one touchdown and two catches against the Atlanta Falcons and will continue to have a major role.

Ellington has rushed for 333 yards and two touchdowns this season and is averaging 7.7 yards per carry. He has caught 22 passes fo 198 yards and one touchdown this season.

Mendenhall missed the Atlanta game with turf toe.

He has rushed for 281 yards and three touchdowns this season.
