Ranking top NBA All-Star Game performances by OKC Thunder players

The NBA All-Star Game is set for 7 p.m. Sunday in Indianapolis.

The annual contest features 24 of the brightest stars in the league. That list includes OKC Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who's a starter for the Western Conference.

Gilgeous-Alexander is the fifth different Thunder player to earn an All-Star nod since the franchise's move to OKC in 2008. It also marks his second straight All-Star selection and his first time as a starter.

Here's a look at the top five All-Star game performances by an OKC Thunder player:

5. Kevin Durant, 2012

The West earned a narrow 152-149 win thanks in large part to Durant.

The then-23-year-old forward tied for a game-high 36 points to go along with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Durant also won what marked the first of his two All-Star MVP awards in the process.

4. Russell Westbrook, 2016

Westbrook stuffed the stat sheet in the West's 196-173 win.

The then-26-year-old guard racked up 31 points, eight rebounds, five assists and five steals. Westbrook also became the first player to win consecutive All-Star MVP awards since Bob Pettit in 1958 and 1959.

3. Kevin Durant, 2014

The East earned a 163-155 win, but Durant proved to be one of the brightest stars in the game.

The OKC forward erupted for 38 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. It was a statement performance by Durant, who won the league's MVP award later that season.

2. Russell Westbrook, 2015

Despite being a reserve player, Westbrook carried the West to a 163-158 win.

The OKC guard scored 41 points, which is tied for the fifth-most points by any player in All-Star game history. He also recorded five rebounds and three steals, and he won All-Star MVP.

1. Russell Westbrook, 2017

History repeated itself in 2017 during the West's 192-182 win.

Westbrook scored 41 points despite being a reserve, although he added seven assists and five rebounds this time around. He also put up the impressive stat line in just under 20 minutes, which was about five minutes less than his 2015 performance.

Westbrook didn't win All-Star MVP, which went to Anthony Davis. But he went on to win the league's MVP award later that season.
