Rangers' Vincent Trocheck added to NHL All-Star Game roster

Rangers center Vincent Trocheck has been added to the roster for the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, where he'll join goalie Igor Shesterkin as the Blueshirts' representatives.

Artemi Panarin, who is a candidate for the Hart Trophy, would've been a shoo-in to rep the Rangers at the game, but is unable to attend because he and his wife are expecting the couple's second child.

Trocheck, 30, is having a tremendous second season in New York.

In 46 games, he has 15 goals and 29 assists.

He ranks first in the NHL in faceoff percentage (62 percent).

This is Trocheck's second All-Star Game, with his first coming during the 2017-18 season when he was a member of the Florida Panthers.

The All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 3 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
