Rams Get 13-10 Upset Over 49ers
The Rams stunned a more accomplished 49ers team, 13-10, at Levi`s Stadium.
Austin Davis completed the game 13 for 24 with 105 yards passing, one touchdown and two picks. Colin Kaepernick went 22 of 33 with 237 yards passing, one touchdown and two fumbles for the 49ers.
Tre Mason rushed for 65 yards on 19 carries. Kenny Britt caught two balls for 32 yards with a touchdown.
The St. Louis defense was the difference in the victory, giving up 80 yards rushing and 237 passing. They harassed Kaepernick and the 49ers offensive line with an imposing eight sacks.
49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin had a productive game with 93 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Rams head to Glendale next week to face the Cardinals (7-1) while the 49ers go to New Orleans to play the Saints (4-4).
