On a rain-soaked Monday, only girls volleyball was played; here are the results

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Division I

North Kingstown 3, Prout 0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-14)

The play of Tess Lafrenier (9 kills, 3 digs), Ella Maack (31 assists, 5 aces) and Sydney Henson (21 digs, 7 aces) paved the way for North Kingstown's win. The Skippers improved to 3-0 this season. The Crusaders were led by Jett Cronin's 13 digs and 4 aces and Sylvia Mayo's 5 kills and 7 digs.

Portsmouth 3, West Warwick 0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-16)

Sophia Champagne dished for 15 assists and Addie Crisfield made 7 kills in the Patriots sweep of the Wizards. West Warwick was led by Liz Gresian (6 digs, 7 kills), Gabby Milani (8 digs) and Emily Camarra (10 assists).

Division II

Westerly 3, Exeter/W. Greenwich 0 (25-20, 25-22, 25-17)

Riley Peloquin finished with 10 kills and Lilly Vetelino chipped in with 7 aces as the Bulldogs swept. Madison Andrade had 13 assists and 4 aces and Hannah Pearson chipped in with 8 kills for the Scarlet Knights.

East Providence 3, St. Raphael 0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-15)

Barrington 3, Ponaganset 0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-20)

Emma McCrann (6 kills) and Rachel Freshman (3 kills, 3 aces) helped Barrington easily get by Ponaganset. The Chieftains got solid efforts from Zoe Glover (4 kills, 4 blocks) and Casey Ferns (3 aces and 17 digs) in the loss.

Middletown 3, North Smithfield 1 (25-15, 25-20, 25-27, 25-6)

Defensive specialist  Maighan Parsley swung for 7 aces and outside hitter Aidan Reilly chipped in with 6 kills as the Islanders held off a stubborn North Smithfield team. Sam Thiibeult recorded 3 kills and 3 aces and Mackenzie Marcoux had 5 assists as the Northmen fought back from a 2-0 deficit to win the third game, but Middletown ended any comeback hopes with a strong fourth game.

Lincoln 3, Johnston 0 (25-22, 25-9, 25-18)

The Lions' libero Kimberly Hickey had 18 defensive digs and 8 Aces, and Casey Weaver had 16 kills and 6 aces to lead Lincoln.

Division III

Narragansett 3, Central Falls 2 (25-18, 23-25, 25-16, 10-25, 17-15)

In a closely contested match, Mackenzie Gallagher's 5 aces, 10 digs and 17 assists and Clare O'Berhen's 9 digs and 7 blocks helped the Mariners slip past the Warriors. Chaelys Acevedo had 9 kills, 6 aces and 1 block in her efforts to keep CF in the match.

Division IV

Providence Country Day 3, Times2/Paul Cuffee 0 (25-18, 25-11, 18-15)

Lana Kooloian recorded 11 aces, Ada Wetherby added 10 assists and both Kelsey Blecker and Abby McRoy pitched in with 4 kills apiece in PCDs shutout. For T2/PC, Elsy Hernandez had 4 kills and 2 aces and Yedy Marte had 6 digs and 2 aces.

Pilgrim 3, Rogers 0 (25-21, 25-4, 25-12)
