Raiders WR Davante Adams leaves Friday practice with leg injury

The Las Vegas Raiders held their second joint practice with the San Francisco 49ers on Friday and one of their star players was unable to finish the day.

According to our own Levi Damien of the Raiders Wire, Davante Adams suffered a leg injury on one of the first plays of practice. Adams was able to leave the field under his own power but was favoriting his right leg.

It’s unclear how serious the injury is for Adams, but the fact that he was able to make his way inside the facility by himself is good news. However, the Raiders will certainly hold their breath until they get more information about the injury.

Adams was a first-team All-Pro selection in his first year with the Raiders in 2022. He led the NFL in touchdown receptions (14) while catching 100 passes for 1,516 yards. Needless to say, he is vital to the offensive success of the Raiders and it’s hard to picture the unit without him for any period of time.
