Northwestern got its biggest win of the season, getting a big game from Owen Ferriman to upset beat Smithville in West Salem.
Ferriman scored 17 of his game-high 28 points in the second half, including a 12-for-14 performance from the free-throw line to give the Huskies their first Wayne County Athletic League win of the season. It marked the second huge game for Ferriman in a row after he scored 32 in a win against Strasburg last week.
Anthony Welch added 17 for the Huskies, along with six rebounds. Evan Steiner led Smithville with 23 points.
