Prep roundup: Grand Ledge softball earns sweep, East Lansing soccer wins Bronze Cup
SOFTBALL
GRAND LEDGE 7, LANSING CATHOLIC 6 / GRAND LEDGE 12, LANSING CATHOLIC 6
Indya Fitzpatrick went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI in the opener and Isabella Perez had a home and four RBI and Kailey Nelson had three doubles and drove in four while helping the Comets (22-6) to the nonleague sweep. Taylor Dunneback went 5-for-8 with three home runs and eight RBI in the doubleheader for Lansing Catholic (17-10).
EATON RAPIDS 7, ST. JOHNS 4 / ST. JOHNS 12, EATON RAPIDS 10
Ari Brooks struck out 15 and Abi Pratt was 3-for-4 with a double for Eaton Rapids in its win in the opener. Pratt had three hits, including a triple, and Brooks went 2-for-4 with a triple and a team-high three RBI for Eaton Rapids (18-13-1) in the second game.
LAINGSBURG 12, OLIVET 2 / LAINGSBURG 21, OLIVET 0
Savanna Stirm went 3-for-2 with a double and three RBI and Addyson Buchin had three hits to lead the Wolfpack in their opening win. Makenna Johnston went 4-for-4 with three RBI in the finale as Laingsburg scored 15 runs in the opening en route to the mercy-rule victory.

Eliana Rojas, Peyton Speakes, Olin Moyer and Brennan Ford scored goals for the Trojans in their CAAC Bronze Cup win. Olivia Preisser added three assists and Zoe Hagan and Sydney Wheeler combined for the shutout in goal for East Lansing (6-8-2).

Ryan Myers had a pair of doubles and two RBI and Travis Davis and Joey Schild each had two RBI in the opening win for the Bulldogs. Hunter Brackenwagen allowed just one earned run and struck out five to earn the complete game win. Brackenwagen had three RBI, While Schild, Tyler Hall and Maddox Armour each drove in two runs for Mason (19-8-1) in the finale. Chase Monzo had three hits in the opener and two RBI in the second game for Holt (12-11).
GIRLS LACROSSE
EAST LANSING 16, LANSING CATHOLIC 6
Sarah Hicks had three goals and Gabriella Torgerson had a pair of goals for Lansing Catholic in its pre-regional loss. Emily Putman had nine saves for Lansing Catholic.
BOYS GOLF
CMAC JAMBOREE
Aidan Maddaloni shot a team-best 83 and finished second individually as Laingsburg picked up the CMAC Jamboree win. Pewamo-Westphalia finished in second behind Brendan Flynn and Brandt who each carded rounds of 86. Kenny Thelen of Fowler was the medalist with his round of 82.
