The Norwegian’s startling numbers have him on 63 goals in 65 Premier League games, having also missed six matches through injury this season.
Alexander Isak stands on the final place of the podium ahead of Newcastle’s trip to Brentford with Ollie Watkins, Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah all within a shout of reaching 20 goals.
Should two players finish level atop the standings, they will share the Golden Boot regardless of their tally of appearances and assists.
