Power ranking Penn State’s and Utah’s wins from the 2022 season
Penn State and Utah will face off in the Rose Bowl on January 2, 2023 but do we know what they did to get here? Who had the bigger wins? Who had the easier path?
We are going to answer that.
Both James Franklin and Kyle Whittingham are potentially future hall of fame coaches. Whittingham built Utah after Urban Meyer got it started, and Franklin saved Penn State after the fallout from a major controversy that rocked the program to its core.
Specifically, in their 2022 campaigns, it is worth looking at them as they now are facing off with each other for the first time. Penn State and Utah have combined for 20 wins this season with 10 each. One won its conference, the other didn’t win its division.
Here is how we ranked their wins for the season from best to worst, if you can say anything bad about a win of course.
