Potential Round 1 CB prospect Roger McCreary meets with Bills
Roger McCreary is one of the most frequent players mocked to the Buffalo Bills early on in the 2022 NFL draft process.
Things have taken a step closer toward that becoming a reality at this year’s combine.
During his press conference at the event, McCreary said he met with the Bills, per WUFO radio:

With decent size at 5-foot-11, McCreary could be a versatile piece for the Bills. He has the ability to play both inside and outside cornerback in the NFL.
While Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott might love that, Pro Football Focus does question one big thing: His ability to play in a zone defense. The Bills run a lot of that.
McCreary himself does insist he plays bigger than his size. At the combine, he told the Buffalo News he loves to put in the work off the field.
“I love the weight room. I love benching. So I’m coming with a lot of energy and I can bring the pressure,” McCreary said.
A senior from Auburn, McCreary notched five interceptions, nine tackles for loss and 20 passes defended over the past two seasons combined. Not a bad resume, which also includes to an excellent grade from PFF in 2021: 89.9.
McCreary could be in consideration for the Bills’ first selection at No. 25 in the first round. However, some outlets such as Draft Wire, do consider McCreary a possible second-round pick.
