Portage HS scores | May 14: Jack Eye no-hitter lifts Windham baseball to tournament win
Jack Eye tossed a no-hitter and went 3-for-3 with a home run Tuesday to lead Windham to a 13-1 Division IV baseball sectional semifinal victory over Leetonia.
Eye struck out 10 against just three walks. Anthony Paolella went 4-for-4, Dylan McCune went 2-for-4 with a double and Brian King went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Bombers.
Regular Season
Southeast 9, Lawrence School 2
The host Pirates took quick control with seven runs in the first inning. Maverick Wood had two hits to lead Southeast, and James Pritts and Zach Keto added a double apiece.
Softball
Columbiana 7, Rootstown 1
Mackenzi Gamble tossed a three-hitter to lead the Clippers past the Rovers in a Division III district semifinal. Gamble struck out 12 against just one walk.
Kaitlyn Hammerschmidt, Boston Silveus and Reise Thomas each had a single for Rootstown.
