There were plenty of great performances last week on the courts. High school sports reporter Rich Garven takes a look at 14 of the best of them for readers to vote on for the Hometeam boys’ basketball player of the week.

Congratulations to Littleton's Jason Mansour, who captured the top spot in last week's poll with 853 votes (31.4 percent), slipping past David Prouty's Judelius Neiray (675 votes) for the honor.

Jake Attaway, Hudson

The junior guard scored a career-high 25 points, including seven at the free-throw line, as the Hawks erased a 10-point, fourth-quarter deficit to edge Maynard by a point in a Mid-Wach C thriller.

Colin Brand, Tahanto

The senior guard scored game-high totals of 21 points versus West Boylston and 20 against Bromfield as the Stags posted a pair of Mid-Wach D victories to improve to 9-3.

Cam Desmaris, Whitinsville Christian

The senior swingman scored a game-high 15 points, the last coming on a 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds left that lifted the Crusaders to a two-point win over Sutton to cap a 2-0 week.

Kenny Donnelly, Millbury

The senior forward posted a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds against Nantucket and scored 32 ‒ one above his career-high set earlier this season ‒ versus Auburn as the10-4 Woolies claimed a pair of wins.

Adam Flauto, Northbridge

The junior forward scored game-high totals of 23 against Auburn and 20 versus Leicester as the Rams posted back-to-back wins in SWCL play.

Teriq Goodman, Worcester Tech

The junior forward scored 22 points ‒ two above his career-high set earlier this season ‒ against AMSA and tallied 19 in two other outings as the 11-2 Eagles extended their winning streak to five games.

Seann Katubi, Wachusett

The sophomore guard scored a career-high 31 points ‒ 18 above his average entering the game ‒ as the visiting Mountaineers upset Fitchburg.

Larry Lamar Jr., Grafton

The sophomore guard extended his streak of 20-plus point games to four, a run that includes 20 against Uxbridge and 21 versus Tantasqua as the Gators claimed a pair of wins in SWCL play.

Jon Powell, Valley Tech

The senior forward dropped in 11 points and hauled in 12 rebounds as the Beavers defeated Abby Kelley to claim their fourth win in the past five games.

Axel Ramos, Clinton

The senior guard tied for the team lead with 12 points against Quabbin and sank four 3-pointers while netting a game-high 18 versus Grafton as the 11-1 Gaels extended their winning streak to eight games.

Matt Tiberii, Quaboag

The senior scored a season-high 22 points, six coming at the free-throw line, as he reached double figures for the fifth straight game as the Cougars topped Leicester to kick off a 2-0 week.

Wyatt Tom, Gardner

The junior center posted a double-double, scoring 11 points and snaring 10 rebounds, versus Ayer-Shirley and added 10 points in a balanced effort against Narragansett as the 9-4 Wildcats collected two wins.

Juan Vega, Main South

The veteran guard drilled eight treys while on his way to scoring 60 points, which is, yes, a career-high, to go with 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 10 steals, and a block as the Cougars defeated Parker Charter.

Jamel Walker, Doherty

The junior forward scored a team-high 18 points and dished out seven dimes as the Highlanders defeated Burncoat in Inter-High action to even their record at 6-6.
