Texas offensive lineman Jake Majors announced Saturday that he will return to Texas for a "last ride!"

Over the past four seasons, Majors has started 41 times at center for Texas. He graduated in December but was noncommittal about his future after going through senior day activities Nov. 24.

But this weekend, Majors took to Twitter to state that he would like to play in the NFL one day. To do that, Majors believes that working another season with UT head coach Steve Sarkisian and offensive line coach Kyle Flood will be beneficial.

"Playing at UT is a privilege that I do not take lightly. I want to thank my family, teammates, coaches, friends, and our loyal fanbase for their support during this process," Majors wrote. "I look forward to continuing my education, improving my leadership on and off the field, and being a big part of the Texas Longhorn community in 2024."

With the 6-foot-3, 315-pound Majors back in the picture, Texas will return the bulk of its offensive line in 2024. Right tackle Christian Jones is the only Longhorn who is set to depart. Majors and Jones started alongside left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr., left guard Hayden Conner and right guard DJ Campbell in 13 of UT's 14 games this season.
