Ron: I wish our politicians were held to the same standards as the military. The Captain doesn't get to blame the "previous administration" or to say that he wasn't on the bridge when the collision occurred so he wasn't responsible. Mistakes were made by those in his command -- the penalty and responsibility fall on his/her shoulders. Regardless ... God bless the officers, crew, and families of the Fitzgerald.
