Phoenix Suns fans call for Frank Vogel to be fired amid team's woes: 'No reason to wait'
There is no question that the Phoenix Suns are underperforming this season in terms of expectations.
The team enters its game Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers with a 46-33 record, in seventh place in the Western Conference and currently in position to play in the NBA Play-In Tournament at the end of the regular season.
Things really went south for the Suns in the first quarter on Tuesday night, when they at one point trailed the Clippers, 35-4.
It was not pretty, and neither has been social media reaction to Vogel's performance as Suns coach.
Could Phoenix fire Vogel after one season?
Social media called for owner Mat Ishbia to make a move at head coach after the team's abysmal performance against the Clippers on the first night of a back-to-back against Los Angeles (who played without Kawhi Leonard and James Harden in the game, a 105-92 Suns loss).

There is a growing buzz around Frank Vogel’s job security as the Suns’ head coach.
If Phoenix is unable to make it out of the first round, Vogel could lose his job after just one season.
The Suns are 13-11 since the All-Star break ranking No. 15 in net rating.

Many on social media called for Suns to fire Frank Vogel: 'Doesn't make adjustments'
Am I the only suns fan that can’t wait for the season to end so they can fire Frank Vogel?

If the Suns lose tonight and especially if they get blown out you have to fire Frank Vogel tonight dawg

This would be a good day to fire Frank Vogel and just get it all over with.

Suns need to fire frank vogel after this season
— Hi Im Fun 👋🏾 (@il2frank) April 10, 2024
If James Jones doesn’t call an emergency press conference and fire Vogel tonight, I’m going to be at a loss. Idc how late it is in the season. Frank Vogel went down 32-4 with Booker, KD and Beal on his team; that is UNACCEPTABLE at any juncture. He is a lost cause.

🗣️ FIRE FRANK VOGEL

Good he doesn’t make any adjustments and doesn’t give key players meaningful minutes
— MagicMike (@riveramichael13) April 10, 2024
No reason to wait Fire him immediately

Should have been fired weeks ago.

Others defended Frank Vogel amid the Suns' woes: 'Scapegoated'
Blame Vogel for a poorly built roster with zero defensive players, and a big 3 that doesn’t make sense
— Washed Kawhi (@JorClipper) April 10, 2024
Vogel isn’t the issue. Ownership ruined that team
— •RvW (@ravenwizardd) April 10, 2024
He has handed a team without a PG, a center incapable of playing defense, absolutely no bench players, a few role players who are hit and miss. And stars with zero passion. Not sure how anyone can expect a different record regardless of who the coach is.

vogel not great but consistently gets scapegoated
— RJ (@Zoatlyy) April 10, 2024
Can’t wait to see what new coach will get a billion dollars worth of athletes to “try harder”
— ~doob~ (@DylanKThompson) April 10, 2024
He'll be the fall guy, we know Ishbia isn't exactly known for patience. Feel bad for the next coach who will get blamed for the stars underperforming this time next year. You can't just change coaches every year and expect any sort of success.

its a roster problem not coaching
— pelinkadidhelp (@jrsmithrange) April 10, 2024
Well they haven’t had a PG on their roster all season sooo
