Patriots Week 9 injury report: Who was in and who was out at Thursday’s practice?

The New England Patriots were back on the practice field on Thursday ahead of their Week 9 matchup with the Washington Commanders.

Injuries and illness have been a common theme for the team this season, and that continued to be reflected in the updated injury report.

Defensive lineman Davon Godchaux joined a list of four players in total that did not participate in practice. The veteran defender was out with an illness, while DeVante Parker, Calvin Anderson and Trent Brown all remained out with injuries.

Things looked far better on the Commanders’ injury report with tight end Logan Thomas returning as a full participant. Their only two absences were wide receiver Curtis Samuel and center Ricky Stromberg.

Here’s the full list of injuries for both teams:

There is some legitimate concern that the Patriots could be even more shorthanded than they already are on Sunday. They will likely have a plethora of players listed as questionable when the final report comes out on Friday.

Roster limitations could continue to haunt them, even when they’re at home against a Commanders team that’s just as bad, if not worse, than they are at this point.
