Patriots Week 18 injury report: Did Trent Brown return on Thursday?

New England Patriots cornerback Myles Bryant was back on the practice field on Thursday, as the team resumed its preparation for Sunday’s regular season finale against the New York Jets.

Bryant, who was limited on the field, was listed as a non-participant at Wednesday’s practice due to an illness.

The Patriots are thin at the cornerback position with the team missing Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones and J.C. Jackson. So they’ve leaned on the combination of Bryant, Jonathan Jones, Shaun Wade and rookie Alex Austin to help fill the void.

Offensive tackle Trent Brown (illness) was the only player on the injury report that did not participate. Here are the full injury reports from the Patriots and Jets on Thursday:

The Patriots will be back on the field again on Friday, when game statuses will be revealed. Bryant seems to have a legitimate shot to play in the finale, but Brown’s availability is looking a lot less likely.
