This Patriots LB absolutely buried Travis Kelce with monster hit

As the New England Patriots take on the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s always fun to observe the little matchups and nuances that happen throughout. One of those occurrences came when Shilique Calhoun absolutely leveled Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce.

Calhoun chipped Kelce at the line of scrimmage to stop the tight end’s route before it began. That seemed to be the team’s game plan to stope Kelce — they intended to beat him up at the line of scrimmage.

Kelce was stopped right in his tracks. In a game where every defensive tackle is going to be crucial for New England, this was certainly a big one of in terms of the actual and not allowing the tight end to gain extra yards.

It will be interesting to see is that play this momentum in this game. One thing is for certain, this is sure to be an entertaining Monday night.
