Panthers likely to sign ‘a couple’ of tryout players from rookie minicamp

The Carolina Panthers have done quite a bit of (collaborative) work on their roster this offseason. Nonetheless, there still are a few spots that are available to be filled.

On Saturday, following the team’s second installment of rookie minicamp, head coach Frank Reich told reporters they may fill those spots with some of this weekend’s tryout players.

As of now, the Panthers have 84 players under contract. With the offseason roster limit at 90, Reich and general manager Scott Fitterer have six spots to play with.
