It’s been tough sledding for a shorthanded Panthers defense today against the Saints. Defensive end Brian Burns came through with a huge play when they needed one, though.

That was the eighth quarterback hit of the season for Burns and his third forced fumble.
New Orleans still leads 14-10 late in the first half.
