Packers Pound Buccaneers, 20-3

The Tampa Bay defense had no answer for Aaron Rodgers as he led the way to a solid win for the Packers against the Buccaneers, 20-3, in Tampa.

Rodgers put together a solid game, going 31 for 40 with 318 yards passing, one touchdown and one fumble. In comparison, Josh McCown went 12 of 26 with 147 yards passing, no touchdowns and one pick for the Buccaneers.

Eddie Lacy was a standout player for the Packers, rushing for 99 yards on 17 attempts with a touchdown. In the first quarter, he got loose for a 44-yard score. Jordy Nelson was a highlight, pulling in nine passes for 113 yards with a touchdown.

The Green Bay defense was the difference in the victory, allowing only 16 yards rushing and 147 passing while coming up with one interception. They terrorized McCown and the Buccaneers offensive line with seven sacks.

Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson contributed 60 receiving yards.

Next week, the Packers are at home against the Lions (11-4) while the Buccaneers play the Saints (6-8), also at home.
