Pacers-Knicks Game 6 set for 8:30 p.m. Friday on ESPN

INDIANAPOLIS -- Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Pacers and the Knicks is set for 8:30 p.m. on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and will be televised on ESPN.

The tip-off time was to be determined based on the other Eastern Conference semifinals series between the Celtics and Cavaliers. Had that series gone to six games, Game 6 would have been played at 8:30 p.m. on Friday and the Knicks and Pacers would have played earlier. However the Celtics clinched the series in five games on Wednesday night to move on to the Eastern Conference finals, so Knicks-Pacers is the only NBA playoff game scheduled for Friday night.

The Knicks won the first two games of the series at Madison Square Garden and the Pacers won Game 3 and Game 4 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Knicks took back the lead in the series on Tuesday night with a 121-91 win in Game 5 at Madison Square Garden, going up 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. If the Knicks win, they move on to face the Celtics. The Pacers have to win to force a Game 7 at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday in New York.
