OSAA state tennis: Cascade's Zach Moore cruises into semifinals
Cascade’s Zach Moore quickly took care of business Friday.
The senior won his first- and second-round matches at the OSAA Class 4A/3A/2A/1A tennis state tournament to advance to Saturday’s semifinals.
Moore, who dropped just two games Friday, is trying to repeat as state champion.
He will face Haruto Zaitsu of St. Mary’s in the semifinals.
In 5A girls, Silverton doubles team Lindsey Gardner and Paige Davisson reached the semifinals, where they will face Crescent Valley’s Anna Nguyen and Kiah Hollister.
