The 2024 Major League Baseball season begins in South Korea on March 20 with Opening Day proper – and all 30 teams in action – on March 28.

The Texas Rangers are the defending World Series champions, but the Los Angeles Dodgers enter the new season as favorites after spending more than a billion dollars this winter on the additions of Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

No team has repeated as World Series winners since the New York Yankees from 1998-2000.
