Ohio State provides injury, availability report for Northwestern game

The Ohio State football program doesn’t provide the typical injury report like other schools, instead providing a status and availability report just prior to kickoff.

With the Buckeyes traveling to the Chicagoland Saturday to take on Northwestern, we just received an update on injuries and which players will be available for the next step on the road to a hopeful Big Ten championship. Of note, OSU will be without three key members heading to Evanston.

As expected receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba will be unavailable and likely not ready until at least the Michigan game, but also missing for today somewhat surprisingly is running back TreVeyon Henderson. Miyan Williams is not listed as unavailable, so it’ll likely be his game to handle on the ground.

Also missing again is cornerback Cam Brown who has been out for multiple weeks now. Jordan Hancock has been getting more game reps coming back from injury himself, so look for him to start opposite of Denzel Burke again at cornerback.

Here’s the complete list of players that will not take part against Northwestern.
