Oconee County well represented in state soccer finals. Titans, Warriors playing for titles

Oconee County's girls soccer seeks to defend its state title from a season ago while North Oconee's girls will play for their second championship in three seasons. Both play in title matches on Wednesday.

The Warriors defeated Dawson County 1-0 on Thursday night and will play Wesleyan at 5 p.m. at McEachern for the Class 3A title while North Oconee took down seven-time defending state champion Westminster, which defeated the Titans last season in the championship game, 1-0, and will face Lovett at 5 p.m. at Duluth High School.

Oconee County hasn't allowed a goal through four playoff games while outscoring opponents 16-0. North Oconee has outscored opponents 15-1 so far but faces a Lovett program that has outscored its competition 28-2 so far in the playoffs.
