By the numbers: Michigan football vs. Iowa
This is quite literally for all the marbles. Michigan heads to Indianapolis to take on Iowa, a team that was once ranked No. 2 in the country before losses to Purdue and Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes feature a tenacious defense, and — uh — an offense?
Iowa prefers to get into a dogfight, with solid blocking up front on both sides of the ball. The winner is the outright Big Ten Champion, something the Wolverines haven’t accomplished since 2004 and Iowa hasn’t since — well, 2004.
Here is how each team matches up against each other by the numbers.
