North Newark Little League crowns Memorial champions
The North Newark Little League hosted its annual Memorial Tournament last weekend.
The Roosters Braves beat the Musick Home Team Giants 15-0 in the Derek Holland Division.
Players for the Braves are Liddell Gillespie, Cooper Griley, Huxson Coad, Cash Layton, Weston Layton, Emerson Embree, Colton Garber, Beau Zatezalo, Weston Carver, Thomas Caton and Evan McDonough. Coaches are Chris Griley, Conner Garber, Tate Coad, Trent McCabe, Dustin Layton and Ed Zatezalo.
Park National Bank beat Mattingly Landscape 6-2 in the final of the Farm Division.
Players are Grayson Gilligan, Jaxson Eveland, Xavion Weber, Xavier Bennett, Cameron Newsome, Jackson Goldsberry, Javin Rose, Haidn Riggleman, Jase Muncie, Connor Van Dyke, Curtis Harmon and Walter Hand. Coaches are Brian Gilligan, Allen Harmon, Denny Eveland and Mike Hand.
Licking Memorial Hospital beat Mattingly 7-5 in the final of the Varsity Division.
Players are Landon Cox, Layton Cox, Cash Fluharty, William Englefield, Bodie Bishop, Carson Cox, Conan Sayers, Dayne Scott, Garet Sayers, Justin Fitzsimmons and Ryland Neal. Coaches are Jamie Cox, Chris Fluharty and Will Englefield.
