North Jersey football: Public Top 20 and Big Six non-public rankings after Week 9
Passaic Tech remains unbeaten and No. 1 in the North Jersey football Public Top 20 rankings after registering their second consecutive shutout.
The Bulldogs (10-0) opened the Public playoffs with a 42-0 victory over Bayonne in a North 1, Group 5 quarterfinal, and it's their fourth shutout of the season.
The top four teams in the Public Top 20 remain unbeaten after playoff wins, with Westwood holding at No. 2, Ramapo No. 3 and Rutherford No. 4 through Week 9.
Bergen Catholic maintains No. 1 in the Big Six non-public rankings thanks to a 42-13 win over Paramus Catholic, and the Crusaders received the top seed in the Non-Public A playoffs that open Friday.
St. Joseph remains No. 2 in the Big Six despite a 24-21 loss to Delbarton, while DePaul climbed to No. 3 after a 28-27 win over then-No. 3 Don Bosco.
