North Florida Ospreys release 2023-24 men's basketball schedule, with a rare home opener
The University of North Florida men's basketball team will open the season at home for the first time in 11 years and will have road games at Iowa, LSU, Florida State, Georgia and Miami to highlight its non-conference schedule, announced on Tuesday.
The Ospreys also will play a multi-team tournament Nov. 16-18 at the UNF Arena, with games against Presbyterian, Maine and Northwestern State.

UNF, which returns only three regulars from last year's 14-17 team, will begin the season against Coastal Georgia on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.
Eight of the Ospreys' first 12 games will be at home.
Instead of opening the season with multiple road games, as in the past two seasons, UNF is spacing its "money games" going to LSU Nov. 24, Iowa Nov. 29, FSU Dec. 19, Georgia Dec. 22 and Miami Dec. 29. It will be the Ospreys' first-ever game against the Bulldogs.
UNF returns three players who were in 18 or more games last season, forward Dorian Gray and guards Chaz Lanier, Oscar Berry and Jah Nze.
The ASUN opener will be Jan. 4 at Stetson. The River City Rumble games against Jacksonville University will be Jan. 13 at UNF Arena and Feb. 24 at Swisher Gym.
