'No, señor! No, señor!' Listen to the Eagles' Spanish-language broadcaster after Bears' FG miss

It’s long been established that Spanish-language broadcasters are some of the most passionate and entertaining listens for fans of professional sports teams.

Earlier this season, the Carolina Panthers’ Spanish-language crew went viral, shouting “Gano lo ganó!” after kicker Graham Gano’s game-winning 63-yard field goal against the New York Giants.

Now there’s a new one to add to the growing list.

‘No, señor!’

Rickie Ricardo, the Spanish-language play-by-play voice of the Philadelphia Eagles (and New York Yankees), was of course on hand for the Eagles’ wild-card game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday evening.

The game came down to a 43-yard Cody Parkey field goal attempt with 10 seconds left in the game. Make it, and Parkey and the Bears move on. Miss it, and the Eagles live to fight another week.

Parkey missed in heartbreaking fashion: his attempt hit the left upright and then the crossbar, bouncing back into the field of play.

In the booth, Ricardo went bonkers. Listen:

“No, señor! No, señor! No, señor! No, señor! No, señor!,” Ricardo shouts.

Partial (rough) translation? “The foot of Cody Parkey … 43 yards … the kick. No! He missed! No, sir! No, sir! No, sir! No, sir! No, sir! No, sir! The Eagles with the victory!”

Ricardo briefly sings, “Chicago, Chicago,” which is usually happy but is more mocking in this case.

Posting the audio on Twitter, Ricardo wrote, “I almost had a heart attack! Epic!”

As was your call of the moment, sir.
