No, Kevin Love doesn't 'know what the hell that was,' either

Kevin Love returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, making his first appearance in the lineup since breaking a bone in his left hand on Jan. 30. He wasted little time making his presence felt, scoring 18 points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing four assists and blocking two shots in 25 minutes of floor time as the Cavs knocked off the Milwaukee Bucks behind another monster performance by top gun LeBron James.

“He gave us a tremendous lift,” interim Cavs coach Larry Drew said after the game, according to Jason Lloyd of The Athletic. “Everybody knows when he’s out on the floor he’s capable of scoring baskets whether he’s inside or out. It was just really good to have him back.”

After the game, Love made it clear just how pleased he was to get back in the swing of things after 20 games on the shelf. During the game, though, Love seemed to take the concept of “loving to be on the court” a step, or a slither, too far:

After firing a corner 3-pointer early in the third quarter, Love stumbled on his descent, hit the deck … and just kind of slid a little bit, languidly writhing along the sideline on some “FRY LIKE BACON.”

The question was obvious: Hey, Kevin, what the hell were you doing on the floor, man? The answer, as it turns out, was obvious, too.

“I don’t know what the hell that was,” Love said after the game, according to Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com. “I was just having fun.”

And maybe — just maybe — offering a tip of the cap to four-legged hardwood greats of years gone by.
