No. 4 Tigers maul East, 56-7
Sep. 30—PRINCETON — The Class AAA No. 4 Princeton Tigers were hitting on all cylinders on both sides of the football Friday night in a 56-7 win over visiting Greenbrier East at Hunnicutt Stadium, in Princeton.
Multiple Tigers reached the end zone in a lopsided homecoming onslaught that saw the Spartans forced into three costly turnovers in the first half, alone.
Princeton (6-0) hosts Hurricane next week.
Ridgeview 34, Richlands 12
RICHLANDS, Va. — Ryan O'Quinn passed for 148 yards and a touchdown while rushing for two more and the unbeaten Wolfpack stayed unbeaten after taking on the Blue Tornado at Ernie Hicks Stadium.
O'Quinn scored on runs of 2 yards and 1 yard. Hayden Baker had three catches for 58 yards, including a 33-yard TD catch. Jaalan Deel had an 18-yard scoring run for Ridgeview (6-0) and Branson Honaker had a 7 yard scoring run.
The Blue Tornado (0-6) got a 2-yard touchdown run from Andrew Boyd in the first quarter. Gavin Whited capped all scoring for the game with his 14-yard TD reception thrown by Jamie Capshaw.
