No. 20 LSU baseball faces No. 11 Georgia Bulldogs in Game 3 of series: Live score updates

LSU baseball faces off against No. 11 Georgia in the final game of a three-game series on Sunday (SEC Network+, 1:00 p.m. CT.)

No. 20 LSU (28-14, 11-9) took the first game of the series on Friday, winning 6-2. But the Tigers pitching staff struggled in the second matchup, allowing 12 earned runs in a 12-7 loss. LSU had even cut Georgia's (30-13, 12-8) four-run lead in the seventh to just one after a three-run home run from Jacob Berry. But four runs from the Bulldogs in the ninth proved to be too much for the Tigers.

Following a strong start from fifth-year senior Ma'Khail Hilliard on Friday, starter Blake Money could only go two innings, surrendering three runs and four hits in the process. And the bullpen behind him wasn't much better as five different Tigers allowed at least a run in relief, with four of them allowing two to score.

LSU's loss on Saturday broke a streak of four consecutive victories in conference play after it had defeated Georgia on Friday and swept Missouri last weekend at home. It was a bounce-back performance from the weekend prior when the Tigers had been swept by No. 4 Arkansas.
