Nick Senzel records one hit, RBI versus Washington
Washington defeated Cincinnati, 6-3, Sunday at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Former Vol Nick Senzel started at third base for the Reds. He was 1-for-4 and recorded one RBI.
Senzel played for Tennessee from 20014-16, earning All-Southeastern Conference and America honors.
The former Vol was selected by Cincinnati in the first round of the 2016 MLB draft with the No. 2 overall pick. Senzel came to the Vols from Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee.
Cincinnati will next play Monday versus Miami. First pitch is slated for 6:40 p.m. EDT at Great American Ball Park.
Cincinnati enters Monday’s contest with a six-game losing streak.
